Ulrich Lamsfuss
L’artiste
Né en 1971, Ulrich Lamsfuss vit et travaille à Berlin. Cultivant la confusion entre peinture et photographie, l’artiste appropriationniste poursuit un travail de mise en question de la notion d’originalité. Il travaille à partir de photographies tirées d'univers variés : presse, internet, catalogues commerciaux, ouvrages techniques, histoire de l’art. En les reproduisant méticuleusement à la peinture à l'huile, il propose une nouvelle interprétation des images.

Au fil des ans, les expositions d’art présentées au Palais des arts et du festival ou à la villa Les Roches Brunes se sont inscrites dans la tradition
culturelle de Dinard. En 2014, la Ville de Dinard a confié le commissariat d’un programme estival à Jean-Jacques Aillagon qui a souhaité concevoir
deux expositions. Toutes deux, chacune à sa manière, parlent de la nourriture, de ses ingrédients, de sa préparation, de sa mise en scène et de

Du 18 septembre au 10 novembre 2013 Painting Forever! is a cooperation of Berlinische Galerie, Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, KW Institute for Contemporary Art and Nationalgalerie -Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. For the launch of this cooperation project, initiated by the Berlin Senate, the four institutions involved have chosen painting as the focal point for the first year of this collaboration, which is to be continued in the future.
