Chaque œuvre de cette série est basée sur une œuvre d’art présentée dans un catalogue d’Art Basel entre 2003 et 2013. En reproduisant le travail de ses collègues, Cognée présente une image d’une décennie du marché de l’art, reproduite à l’identique et dans le même style.

The Voorlinden museum in The Netherlands is dedicating Philippe Cognée a solo show, focusing on the catalogue de Bâle series, on view until June 9, 2024. Each work from this series is based on a work of art depicted in a catalogue of Art Basel between 2003 and 2013. By replicating the work of his colleagues, Cognée presents an overview of a decade of the art market, brought back to identical size and depicted in the same style.
