Dans le cadre de l’exposition collective Immortelle au MO.CO, Oda Jaune, Abdelkader Benchamma et Orsten Groom exposeront leurs œuvres du 11 mars au 7 mai 2023. Immortelle propose un ambitieux panorama de la jeune peinture figurative française. Déployée pour la première fois sur l’ensemble des centres d’art, l’exposition s’organise en deux volets. Au MO.CO., seront présentés des artistes emblématiques de la scène française, nés de 1970 au début des années 80, qui affirment un goût pour la peinture figurative dans laquelle la place de la figure humaine demeure essentielle. Au MO.CO. Panacée, la nouvelle génération des années 80 et 90 revisite la peinture de genres (historique, portrait, paysage, nature morte…). L’exposition généreuse, sensible, entend rendre hommage à la peinture, dans sa part physique, matiériste, érotique, romantique.
